This policy explains what personal data Elysium Relief collects, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. It applies to this website and to orders placed through it.

Who we are

Elysium Relief sells naturally derived body care in the United Kingdom. For the purposes of the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, we are the data controller for the information described here.

Trading name: Elysium Relief.
Business type and registered details: Elysium Relief Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 17365493.
Trading address: Bartle House, Oxford Court, Manchester, M2 3WQ.
ICO registration: not required. We have completed the Information Commissioner’s Office self-assessment and Elysium Relief is exempt from the data protection fee. We remain fully subject to the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and the rights set out below apply as normal.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to sell to you and to run the site:

• Order information — your name, delivery address, billing address, email address and phone number.
• Payment information — handled by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
• Account information — if you choose to create an account, the details you save in it.
• Marketing preferences — your email address, if you ask us to tell you when something launches.
• Technical and usage data — pages visited, approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type. See our Cookie Policy.
• Correspondence — messages you send us and our replies.

How we use it, and our legal basis

• To fulfil your order — taking payment, dispatching, and dealing with returns. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• To meet legal duties — keeping tax and accounting records, and handling product safety matters. Legal basis: legal obligation.
• To answer your questions and provide customer service. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• To send marketing emails, where you have asked us to. Legal basis: consent. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
• To keep the site secure and working, and to understand how it is used. Legal basis: legitimate interests, and consent for non-essential cookies.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the suppliers who make the shop work:

• Shopify — hosts this store and processes orders.
• Payment providers — Shopify Payments and PayPal, to take payment securely.
• Delivery partners — to get your order to you.
• Email and marketing tools — we use Shopify Email, which is part of the Shopify platform, so your details are not passed to a separate email company..
• Professional advisers and authorities — where we are legally required to.

Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where data is transferred internationally, it is protected by UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept for seven years, to meet HMRC requirements. Marketing consents are kept until you withdraw them. Correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful to resolve your query, and then deleted.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of your data; to have inaccurate data corrected; to have data erased; to restrict or object to how we use it; to receive it in a portable format; and to withdraw consent at any time.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113.
